Evanston Roundhouse Restoration - Unita Co. Bucking Horse Stock Car
|
A really different and interesting car. Custom printed on an Athearn HO Stock car (very hard to find these days). Done for the famous Evanston Roundhouse Restoration Project, the car shows many of the ranch brands used in the area and includes a Signboard for the Bucking Horse Ranch. A name that echos the Wyoming State symbol of a bucking horse (see it on any Wyoming licence plate).
Roll your railroad into the wide open great American west. The car is available from the Evanston Roundhouse Restoration Project, 1200 Main Street, Evanston, Wyoming 82930. Phone 307/783-6390. Email urevan@allwest.net. Ask for Jane Law, she's terrific. |

somewhere west of Laramie? |

LIGONIER VALLEY. A boxcar done for the Ligonier Valley
Rail Road historical Association. Car features a logo
representing the outline of Fort Ligonier and the Ligonier
Bandshell. The Ligonier Valley Rail Road was a prosperous
short line that ran between Latrobe and Ligonier, PA.
Excursion trains from the PRR often ran over its tracks to
service the Idlewild amusement park. The railroad also served
the mines and coke ovens of Wilpen, a mining town that still
exists as do most of the principal structures of the
Railroad. |

We did a series of Holiday cars for this
company, some with individual names. Also great people and
they have provided the material for several of our best liquor
cars as well. Alas, the Holiday cars are long gone...but
you can still get some of the liquor cars from our beer
car section.
