CUSTOM CARS
          for Clubs and Organizations

Greenway does custom paint and print runs of special cars for organizations.  These cars can be done from finished artwork provided by the customer, from our own interpretation of customer desires, or completely free lance based upon customer requests.  Costs vary by complexity of the work, the cost of the undecorated cars, and by length of run.  The longer the run, the better.  This makes the unit cost lower because there are more units to recoup the fixed costs of plates and set-up. Orders usually consist of 100 to 1000 cars.
What can we do for yo
ur Club or Organizations? Contact us about producing custom cars  for YOU
Other examples of custom work for clubs and organizations are shown below. These cars may be purchased direct from the sponsoring club or organization. Where noted, cars are sold out and are shown as examples only.  Like what you see? Contact the sponsor and get one while it's still available.

Johnstown Brewing is well known for its own high quality brews served in the delightfully informal atmosphere of a converted country club once owned by Bethlehem Steel. Less known other places, but a well known local secret is that it also offers some of the finest dining in western Pennsylvania. The HO car and other items are available from Ralph Lovette, Johnstown Brewing, 942 Pine Grove Lane, Johnstown, PA 15905. Their phone is 814/536-3525 and their website is johnstownbrewingco.com.

Evanston Roundhouse Restoration - Unita Co. Bucking Horse Stock Car
A really different and interesting car. Custom printed on an Athearn HO Stock car (very hard to find these days). Done for the famous Evanston Roundhouse Restoration Project, the car shows many of the ranch brands used in the area and includes a Signboard for the Bucking Horse Ranch. A name that echos the Wyoming State symbol of a bucking horse (see it on any Wyoming licence plate).

Roll your railroad into the wide open great American west. The car is available from the Evanston Roundhouse Restoration Project, 1200 Main Street, Evanston, Wyoming 82930. Phone 307/783-6390. Email urevan@allwest.net. Ask for Jane Law, she's terrific.

LIGONIER VALLEY. A boxcar done for the Ligonier Valley Rail Road historical Association. Car features a logo representing the outline of Fort Ligonier and the Ligonier Bandshell. The Ligonier Valley Rail Road was a prosperous short line that ran between Latrobe and Ligonier, PA. Excursion trains from the PRR often ran over its tracks to service the Idlewild amusement park. The railroad also served the mines and coke ovens of Wilpen, a mining town that still exists as do most of the principal structures of the Railroad.

MARGOLIS/SOUTHERN

We did a series of Holiday cars for this company, some with individual names. Also great people and they have provided the material for several of our best liquor cars as well.  Alas, the Holiday cars are long gone...but you can still get some of the liquor cars from our beer car section.
